flower Preservation
October and November Floral Preservations are currently closed for resin work. Frame orders will still be accepted.
This is due to the high volume of current preservations in progress, along with the complicated nature of these orders.
Thank you for your patience and understanding!

save them forever.
Floral arrangements are so beautiful and a significant part of important events. Not to mention, they provide an ambiance that simple decorations just cannot match. Flowers hold a lot of meaning and symbolism, and invoke so many feelings inside of us. They can transport us right back into a joyous moment, or be a forever memory of a loved one. Flower Preservation is a way to save actual flowers lifelike in resin for years and years to come. What a beautiful daily reminder of an event, a one-of-a-kind gift to a loved one, and an heirloom to pass on to family.

How?
Having your event located in San Diego or having a connection in San Diego makes for a seamless process. Upon booking, all details will be sorted out as far as receiving the flowers. I accept drop-offs and may be available for pickups. If you have an engagement, wedding, prom, gender reveal, memorial, or have any other special event in a different city or state, but have a reliable point person who can bring the bouquet/arrangements back with them, I am happy to communicate with them. That will save you shipping costs. Overnight shipping is necessary and can be very expensive depending on your location, but I do take wedding bouquets from all over the US!
I am in the process of creating a tutorial of how to properly package a wedding bouquet/previously dried flowers when delivery/pickup isn’t possible. In the meantime, I can give step by step instructions with photos.

Tell me more.
After I receive the flowers, I deconstruct, categorize, and place them in the drying agent to begin the moisture removal process. This can take over 3, 4, even 5 weeks depending on the types of flowers you have. Thick flowers require more time, and tropicals as well. Different tactics have to be used for different flowers.
Based on photos of your original arrangements, I design, and the pouring or placing process begins.
I work to ensure the least amount of outside disturbance (bubbles/dust) occur during resin pouring. However, due to the 100% handmade process, there are some unavoidable deviations that may occur. Timing is everything in the flower preservation process. I am meticulous and rushing any step of these processes can alter your final pieces, so please be patient.
Your beautiful floral preservation pieces will take approximately 72 hours to cure. After this, an additional few days is recommended before shipping or pickup.. The process takes patience and time, so please take note of that. It will be worth it! Shipping is an option now offered in the “Photos, Items, Options” section.
MUST READ ABOUT YOUR FLOWER PRESERVATION
$150 deposit is non-refundable. It goes towards your final Flower Preservation purchase! $300 minimum required.
Prices may vary upon receiving full details on your preferences.
Book with me right away when you’re finalizing the plans of your wedding or event in San Diego. The sooner, the better! Popular times of the year will book up. I do insist on receiving your flower bouquet within 4 days of the event. Some exceptions may apply. The fresher the blooms, the better they will preserve. This will affect their overall appearance. Overnight shipping is preferred if local drop off/pickup is not an option.
Flowers can go through trauma before arriving to me, and that will show in the form of bruising, possible browning, or discoloration when placed in resin. This is a possibility even if you can’t physically see much on the flower itself. If it arrives bruised or more than a few days after the event, it will likely reflect that in your finished piece. Don’t let this deter or scare you! Even white roses that have darkened in the process still look magical.
I have local florist connections too, where I can work with them to recreate any floral arrangements from the past.
All resin will yellow or amber to a certain extent over time. Keep your floral preservations out of direct sunlight…they do look beautiful in the San Diego sun, but long exposure will speed up this process.
Please be very careful with your flower preservation pieces as they can weigh over 15 lbs. Be careful to not display them in places where they can fall on young children or animals, as this would cause bodily harm.
